hi ive been using precript assist for 3 years with success ! now ive run out and i cant buy it from

amazon or dr carolyn deans website ,but thats not a problem i will buy direct from safer medical. My problem is

that ive been reading everywhere that safer medical has changed the formula. that the ingredients on the bottle with the old puzzle label is completely different to the new label one . if so why have you changed and will it be as effective?? ive read it on face book on the paleo mum and chris kresser says so too

Hi, please read below article URLs to answer your questions.

On behalf of Safer Medical of Montana Inc,

Please let me know if you have more questions or need help.

Thank you !

Came to the site to ask exactly the same question. These posts are helpful. Sorry you've had so much trouble with a distributor. But it would be even more helpful to know what changes, specifically, you made to the original formula. Even if, to protect your formula, you can't state anything too specific, it would be nice to know the thinking behind the changes.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Safer Medical of Montana, Inc

Leonardite has significant amounts of fulvic and humic acid as a prebiotic in Prescript-Assist.

SMMT added pea protein to enhance the PREBIOTIC effect on the microbes.

Pea protein is a prebiotic for beneficial microbiota and alternate source of protein for vegetarians as well.

We put less leonardite and compensated with pea protein.

The addition of pea protein caused the capsules to be slightly larger and have a gray sheen to them.

Also, Safer Medical of Montana, Inc continues manufacturing the previous formula (corrected listing) without pea protein.

The numbers of microflora weights are identical with or without pea protein.

Prescript-Assist light is the same formula without pea protein in a 310mg capsule. Prescript Assist Light was developed from customer feedback where people wanted to take only half a serving and also to give to their children as well.

We upgraded quality control, Prescript-Assist is the best it has ever been.

All of us have different gut environments. Please try and see which one works better for you.

Please let us know how you are doing with Prescript-Assist, your feedback helps us greatly.

Hi, I started using prescript assist 2 or 3 years ago when it was recommended by Dr. Amy Meyer. All of her supplements are free of gluten, dairy, soy and other common allergens.  I therefore assumed Prescript Assist was as well. Since nothing on the label indicates this I am posing that question to you now. That goes for your other products as well. I do believe the PA helps me, but would like to be sure, as I have a number of allergies/sensitivities.

Thanks, Karen

PS: after posting my question I scrolled back and read about the addition of pea protein. Please tell me when you did that because I was definitely thinking I had increased flatulence over the past month or so that I hadn’t had before and wondered if the PA was working as well...

Sorry for the late reply Karen.

Please read below article and if you have more questions, please let me know.
